good morning/afternoon/evening everyone,

before i forget again happy birthday dez, happy 36th birthday hehe  your getting old wait that means i am getting old as well lol.   love ya       happy anniversary tom and chelle. hope you guys had a good day.
well another week has gone by here in Michigan. mom i did get the package thanks. and the size of shoes that i do ware is size 13 wide but what i was thinking that i can go and find one here that would be good or if the wardrobe has the same shoes maybe just get them and send them out to me. the weather here is coolly down in temp but it is still sun shinning but it is getting cold here again but who knows. the lanes down in Blackfoot must have been giving everyone trouble it sounds like.

elder bullard and me have been really busy with appointments this past week. and this next week we are really busy with appointments, Interviews with President Hess, District meeting, and General conference all this week. so are planners are busy and full for the week. and we also have trade offs again with the big rapids elders and this time i am going to go up to big rapids for the day but we are going to trade off Wednesday night tell Friday cause that's when we have interviews and district meeting down here in grand rapids. then next Monday we have deep cleaning so we are going to be busy next Monday and well.

well the investigators are not picking up their phones that much at all when we do try to call to set up an appointment with them. so we just spot by and set one up with them. and sometimes that works out a lot better then calling them. well we are doing good with the less active set that we got a few weeks ago. every time we have the car we are going around and looking for less actives and setting up appointments with them. their is a less active that we met with last Friday and i don't know why she went in active she has a strong testimony about the gospel and she went on a mission as well. she went to Montana somewhere. o get this she told us that she didn't want to go over seas for a mission and when she got her mission call she got called to go over seas but then when we was in the MTC and on her 6th week of being their to learn a new language she got called into the MTC office and they said that her mission call got changed and that she was needed up in a Montana mission. how crazy is that, that she got a mission changed in the MTC. we are meeting with here every Friday and she wants to come back to church and also go to the temple again and so we set a goal for her for the temple to go to it in 7 months from now so in September. so we have been doing a lot of less active finding. we have been doing that more them door knocking cause we have not found a new investigator though door knocking since elder bullard has been here it has all been though formal investigators and also though part member families. so not much happened last week this next week is going to be better and are week is already full with appointments and everything else that is going on. well hope everyone had a good week and congrates on the job tom. see prayers are answered, hope you like it. hope to hear from everyone soon love ya.

good morning,

hello everyone. i hope everyone had a good week. the weather here has been really crazy for this time of year. it has been in the 70's which is way warm for here in Michigan and this time of year. and it has been in the 60% humid as well and i don't do humid that much. this past weekend from Friday tell yesterday we walked a total of 20 miles and riding the bus for 4 hours which is crazy. so my legs right now is pretty tried but we are still walking tell we get a car on Wednesday after are district meeting and we are going up to greenville for it and i am going to be going on trade offs with are district leader he is coming down here to grand Vally(grand rapids) with me. and we already have a full day that day as well which is good. ya you can keep sending the news paper stuff it is keeping me updated on the things from back home and whats going on in rexburg. we are going to have fast Sunday this coming Sunday cause of general conference and then Easter. i know this ward is going to have a Easter program. and then the week after that we are going to have stake conference here in grand rapids.

well on Saturday we had an appointment up in the plain field area of grand rapids and we had to ride a bus their and it was at 1pm and from the last bus stop it is another mile and a half. but we had to go and catch a bus by are apartment to ride it down to central station and then from their get on another bus to go to the last bus stop on that route and then walk another mile and a half and that took us from 10:15 when we left are apartment tell 1pm to get their and and grap something to eat. and get this the appointment that we had was with a in active in are ward and when we got their someone was walking out of the house and they saw us and ran back in their house. well we knock on the door and they didn't answer go figure so we had to walk another mile and a half to go and catch the bus again to go to another appointment and that one we didn't make it to cause the bus was late getting back to central station so we had to call to set up another time to come by so then we had to wait their at central station to get back on the bus to go back to where we was for another appointment and that person was not home ether and it was in the same area where are first appointment was at. but as we was walking their some members saw us from another ward and picked us up and took us their and they waited and then took us back to the bus stop. they was going to a store to get a few things but then but the store was closed when they got their and when they drove by the bus stop they pulled over and gave us a ride to where we needed to go again. and that was good of them to do that.

well we had training this past Thursday and it was really good. their was 70 missionaries here in grand rapids at the stake center. so half of the mission was their which was crazy. and it was good to get training and to see other missionaries and talk to them. and are ward the grand vally ward is putting a thing together called "Introduction to Mormonishm" and this is where we are going to talk about what we believe for are church and have everyone come to it at are church house and learn more about are church and what we believe. we are going to have 2 different sessions and 2 different days the first day is may 17th which is a Thursday and then the 2nd session is going to be the 31st on may. the first session their is going to be a member going to teach and then the 2nd session we as missionaries are going to teach it.

right now with the investigators that we are teaching. some of them are not reading the book of Mormon and so when they don't read we don't go on with the lessons tell they know why they need to read it. so the next time we go over their we talk about the book of Mormon and why it is so important to read. and we have no one yet that has a baptism date. the referral that we got from the Kalamazoo elders, we had an appointment on Saturday the son was home but not the mom so we are going to call and set up another time to come over and share more. well George is still George. lately he has not been coming to church he has always been coming up with an excused saying that 9am is to early to come to church. Elmur is doing good. he took a fall last week and then he got sick as well on top of that. so he has not been doing so good and his wife sister Ybema told Elmur that he cant drive for a week and when he told us that over the phone he was laughing about it and then we was as well. i have not heard about kimberly's daughter. that is good that elder Pace and elder Moore was able to come and help load some wood and that they got some green frosting to bad none of them was new missionaries know that would have been more funnier(new missionary [greenie] and st Patrick's day). did you show the elders pics of me when they was their? where do they live at their in rexburg? well that's all for now. love ya and hope to hear from everyone really soon.

hello everyone,

well this past week was good. we had a lot of time to go and door knock which i will tell you is not my favorite thing to do. teaching is my favorite thing to do. well tuesday it was transfer day in the mission and we had to go to the stake center to go and pick up the car from the greenville elders. but on monday the day before we got a phone call from are distrect leader saying that he got a call from President Hess saying that he was being transfered(we normaly find out on friday the week before and are distrect leader was suppose to stay with his companion for another transfer cause he was traning and traniners stay together for 2 transfer) and so that was crazy news for us and he was called to be a zone leader down in Kalamazoo. and so when we herd that are distrect leaders was being transfered elder Bullard took all of us out to breakfast that morning to i-hop before we had to be at the stake center. but on tuesday we had 5 apointments set up but 3 of them fell though and so we taught 2 lessons. then on wedensday we got a call from Elmur Ybema and asked us if we had a lunch apointment and we said no we didnt and him and his wife took us out to lunch and we shared a message about the sacurament with him and his wife. then on friday we had a dinner apointment and a family in the ward their names are the Siegman's and they are way awsome. bro siegman went on his misson to the colorado north mission. and while we was their we was talking about some other missionaries that has served here in the Grand Vally ward and now they are Assitents to the mission President and they are going to be in town on thursday cause we had a tranining meeting and so we was thinking about having a dinner apointment with the assitents and the members as well cause the assitents loved them as well. but this past week we had 12 lessons and 8 of those 12 lessons was with investigators which is good. and 4 of those lessons was with a member and so we are getting members to help us out again YA. we have a traning meeting on thursday here in grand rapids with the whole zone of missionaries and so it is going to be good to see the missionaries here and also to see President Hess.

so how is the missionaries their elder Moore and elder Pace? they really like sports huh? well since they do and since march maddness is coming up lol. i dont know if they are aloud to watch any sports in that mission. i have been thinking when i get home off my mission i am going to help the missionaries as much as i can with rides cause it has been helpful with members giving us rides everywhere. so i am going to help them with rides and also if they need someone to go with them to apointments i am going to go with them. so is the missionaries in that ward now of how big of a area do they have to cover? and how many wards/stakes do they have to cover?

are investigators are going good. some of them are not home when we go by and see them but thats normal. but we did pick up 4 new investigators this past wekk which is good. we got a referral from a set of elders down in Kalamazoo area. they called us a while back and gave us a name to go and see and we went and saw the person on saturday and while we was their we ask the mom cause thats who we got the name for. she has 3 sons and one of them is 18 and we ask if wanted to join in and he did and talked more then his mom when we asked ?'s for them to answer. we taught them the 1st lesson and they loved it. we commited them to read the Book of Mormon and also pray about it and they said they would which is awsome. and we are meeting with them on saturday again and hopefully they will have read and then we are going to comminted them to baptism that night as well.

are dinner apointments are picking up this month which is good this week we dont have dinner today, wedensday and also saturday. but thats ok it is elder Bullards birthday today which is funny cause it is Tab's brithday also ands it is Elmur and his wife annraversity(they have been married for 60 years today march 12th). we dont have weekly dinner apointment like when i was in greenville. you did not say that you was going to send 2 more shirts that i can remember but i am losing tract of some things cause i have been trying to remember a lot of things and i am glad we have planners that we can take with us everyday and put notes in their as well. elder Bullard doesnt get any package from home except for when he got hurt then we got a lot of stuff send to him that week. ya i know the wrestling on the grass was fun i forgot about that cause when i had to get a new camara i could not watch it because of the size maybe but i dont know. ya the bathroom video was a good one i thought i would make a vedio and send it. that vedio was with elder Logan Kohler. and i cant remember the pics that much sorry without looking at them. on the letter i send to michelle i told her some of the names that was in the pics. o on saturday when we was on are way home we stopped and got a drink to take with us and while we was their we got a phone call asking if we could come into a class for primary and talk with them for a little bit and so we did. and this was during the 3rd hour so preisthood. so i guess all of the primary's must have been on the same lesson your ward and this ward. 14 lawns to power rank wow that is good and it is only march and i beat you will get more come march and april, when the weather will warm up. well thats all for now and hope to hear from everyone soon and we will talk to you next week. love ya
